Purchased: Oct 23rd, using a large down payment - $100k - (courtesy of Count Dooku), Daryl has taken on a mortgage until such time as he can pay it off (hopefully early with the help of Mako and others); As of Late December 2016, Daryl has used his out-of-court settlement with Ronald Chump to pay off the house.
What: A former group vacation rental that sits about an hour outside Nonah center or about 1/2 hour from the suburbs, roughly 45 minutes from the Porter.
Details: The main building is two stories with a basement. It's a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house and the large basement is set up to sleep about the same as the bedrooms proper in the case of large groups (no real privacy though) - Roughly 28-30 people total. The kitchen and dining is small and seats about six comfortably. Most dining for larger groups is intended to happen outside around the fire pit.

As of Early August 2017 it is now 'self sufficient' being that it's power is off-grid and the water line can be ignored in favor of the creek and on-property wells if Daryl so desires.

There are three out buildings situated very close to the main building: a barn with stalls for up to four horses, a shed for feed and tool storage, and a workshop/garage.

The property is located in a largely un-wooded stretch of land on the bank of a small river that faces a heavy swath of forestation. Land on both sides of the river are part of the half dozen acres the property sits on. Cattle fencing is up along the property line and Daryl plans to reinforce and maintain this. The property road cuts between the house and the stretch of land in front of the river.
Important Decorations:

Each room has a glass bowl with fresh flower blooms in them. Though the blooms never seem to change, they are always fresh as if just picked. Only members of 'The Group' know that crushing one of these blooms in case of an emergency will tell Daryl to return home or allow Daryl to find them if they're kidnapped from the house. Otherwise, they're just really pretty to look at.

Megalodon's Tank is in the living room.

Carl & Enid's room has a Green Balloon tied to a weight on Enid's side. And outside the house, tied to one of the posts, is another green balloon.

Hinami's space has a compact family altar.

A 60 gallon tank for Megalodon and some friends. Megalodon is a Red-tailed Black Shark inherited from Tetsuo in August 2017.

"This shark, that is TOTALLY A SHARK because the sign said so, lives in a 60 gallon tank with a so far undefeated Godzilla toy and a piece of driftwood. (decor subject to change with time, I'll update)

This tank takes up Tetsuo's entire desk, and is covered to protect from cats with a light, filter, etc. If you wondered about whether or not keeping a ton of glass in Tetsuo's room is a good idea, keep wondering. (But it's a very good thing to keep him trying to reign in his temper/power, feel free to remind him that glass breaks).

Although I don't expect anyone will know, it's a male, meaning it's thoroughly black with an extremely vibrant fin.

He's not as aggressive as sharks get, and as such cohabitates rather peacefully with other non-sharks, but he is extremely curious and active. Like all sharks, he's a little bit on the shy side and will vanish if there's loud noises, he values dark places to hide, and typically stays towards the bottom of the tank. Also like all sharks, he is a chaser, and will sometimes take to endlessly following and annoying/harassing other fish that won't try anything to make it stop. Um, not sure how to do this so have some points.

Enid replaced the existing bed on the right side of the room with a dresser bed, effectively giving Carl the closet and small lamp stand drawer to use for his things. A few changes of clothes and a stash of non-perishable snacks are now kept inside separate drawers.

She brought the bunny Rick gave her for safekeeping and keeps it neatly on top of her pillows when she is not around.

Along the same lines of thinking to keep things safe, she has recently made a jewelry box from a book to disguise and safe keep the other important tokens to her. Inside there are assorted things like green balloons, a toy fire truck, two bracelets, a necklace, a braided crown and an uncut key that one might blink at or assume has to do with her powers. She keeps the book just atop of the small stand on her side of the room.

On the weekends or days she is around, her diary can sometimes be spotted half hidden under her pillows or blanket.

The nightstand near the empty bed (which belonged to Hinami) has a compact family altar, which belonged to Hinami and was Daryl's gift. Kaneki lights incense and leaves a bit of rice there once a week; there are no photographs on this shrine.

There is a desk (it matches the rest of the furniture) with a computer and two screens.

There are many bookshelves for the MANY books Kaneki and D33's books.

Kaneki has a poster on the back of the bedroom door of a Banana, a reference to the author "Banana Yoshimoto".

Still cranky, but enjoys spending time with Stitches and Timmy. All three are housecats Daryl takes great pains not to let outside so they don't try and run away.
